Mesa Moraira took us on a culinary adventure that left us utterly amazed. From appetizers to desserts, each dish was a masterpiece of flavor and presentation. Here, we share our experience in this charming restaurant.
Our visit to Mesa Moraira was nothing short of extraordinary! From the moment we stepped in, we were captivated by the ambiance, both indoors and on the delightful terrace. The atmosphere promised a special evening, and it certainly did not disappoint.
We began our midday meal with the delightful SIRICIS White Wine, a rosé with charming color and flavor. Shared amongst the three of us, while our other companion opted for some refreshing canas. A truly excellent choice to kick off our afternoon!
APPETIZERS
The appetizers were a revelation. The smoked salmon with garlic croutons and lemon dill was a true delight, with impeccable presentation and a bread that complemented it perfectly.
The duck salad was surprisingly flavorful, with a sauce that enhanced its taste just right. And the sashimi tuna held its own, with a fresh and delightful texture, without overwhelming spiciness.
MAIN COURSES
Venturing into the main courses, we dared to try the Belgian Beef Stew. A wise choice! This special dish with an ale base was a perfect fit for a winter day. Each part of it was excellent in texture and flavor.
We also ventured into the Thai Vegan Curry, and despite not being vegans ourselves, we were impressed by its presentation and the unique taste with a nice touch of Thai spices.
THE MESA HAMBURGUER
But let’s talk about the crown jewel: the MESA HAMBURGER. Simply amazing! The burger itself was large and flavorful, and when paired with the fries and salad, it became a perfect meal for the hungry. Undoubtedly, a burger that surpasses any we’ve tried before.
Even though we were full after dinner, we couldn’t resist peeking at the desserts other diners were enjoying. Though we didn’t try them, they looked tempting and promised to conclude the gastronomic experience on a high note.
The exceptional service and the restaurant’s charming location added a special touch to our evening. In conclusion, Mesa Moraira is a gem that you definitely must experience.
