Spain Life Exclusive delves into the vibrant experience of the Gastrónoma 2023 Fair, an event highlighting culinary diversity and culinary artistry at Feria Valencia.
Spain Life Exclusive proudly participated in the exhilarating Gastrónoma 2023 Fair, held from November 12th to 14th at Feria Valencia. The fair, continuously expanding, spanned over 25,000 square meters, bringing together over 250 brands and 200 speakers in a spectacular professional showcase.
Throughout these three days, visitors had the chance to explore two pavilions filled with local products, predominantly from Valencia, and witness renowned chefs participating in various presentation spaces. Among the standout chefs were Francis Paniego from El Portal de Echaurren, Kiko Moya, Raúl Resino from Raúl Resino Restaurant, Javi Estévez from La tasquería, and many others, who enthusiastically shared their culinary expertise and insights.
The fair offered a diverse range of activities, from live cooking demonstrations to professional competitions, such as the Maestro del Salmón 2023 Competition, led by a representative from Mercadona. Additionally, attendees enjoyed stands showcasing local products like La Despensa de Frida, craft beers, chocolates, locally produced oranges, and an exhibition showcasing the finest cuts of meat by Valencia’s butchers’ guild. Sustainability and viability were key themes at Gastrónoma 2023. Experts discussed offal and the culture of resourcefulness, while others tackled the importance of fire and grilling techniques in modern cuisine. Pastry and chocolate were also in the spotlight, with renowned pastry chefs and bakers presenting their creations in the ‘Be Sweet’ and #pandeverdad spaces.
The fair also hosted competitions focusing on chocolate, wine, salmon, and haute cuisine, along with tastings and demonstrations related to the world of wines and spirits. Visitors had the opportunity to taste wines from renowned wineries such as Ribera del Duero, Burgos, and La Rioja, enjoying a unique experience in the world of wine.
Gastrónoma 2023, supported by entities like Turisme Comunitat Valenciana and sponsored by HEINEKEN Spain, Makro, and other institutions, once again became the epicenter of Mediterranean gastronomy. It was an honor for Spain Life Exclusive to be part of this exceptional event highlighting the culinary richness and talent of the region.
