L’Olleta is situated in one of the most scenic locations along the Costa Blanca. Our visit took place in the evening, allowing us to experience the ambiance under the soft glow of lights and a moonlit sky. The restaurant offers spectacular views, perched directly above the Mediterranean, with expansive terraces that serve as a venue for events, weddings, and other gatherings. The outdoor space features multi-tiered seating and a dedicated stage, while an indoor area ensures that guests can enjoy their dining experience regardless of the weather.

At night, the illuminated palm trees and surrounding foliage create a visually stunning setting. The evening we visited coincided with Valentine’s Day, adding a special touch to the atmosphere.
The Dining Experience
Kosta, the restaurant’s manager, played an integral role in guiding our meal choices. His expertise in pairing dishes with complementary wines enhanced our experience, making it more than just a meal but a curated gastronomic journey.
Starters
We opted for a selection of fish dishes:
- Fried Calamari—This light and delicate dish, presented on an elongated plate, offers a crisp and satisfying texture.
- Ceviche – Infused with wasabi spice, adding a subtle yet delightful kick.
- Tuna Tartare—Vibrant in both color and taste, this dish stood out as a favorite. Its fresh flavors and excellent presentation made it a standout.
Each starter was served individually, allowing us to appreciate the flavors and textures of each dish fully.
Main Course
For our main, we shared the Salted Sea Bass, which was flambéed tableside to crisp the skin before being portioned and served. This theatrical presentation added to the dining experience. Accompanied by well-prepared vegetables, the dish stood out for its delicate flavors and expert execution. It was one of the finest seafood dishes in the Costa Blanca region.
Despite enjoying multiple courses, the meal felt light, a testament to the quality of ingredients and precise cooking techniques.
Dessert
To conclude, we shared the Millefeuille Apple with Ice Cream, a well-balanced and satisfying dessert. We paired it with a Villa Maria Reserve New Zealand wine, an excellent recommendation that perfectly complemented the meal.
