Last week, Hogarguti opened the doors of its stunning showroom in Dénia for an exclusive lunch event in collaboration with MESA La Marina and El Celler de La Fontana. Titled Showcooking at Hogarguti, the event brought together a vibrant mix of entrepreneurs, collaborators, creatives, and loyal clients from across the Costa Blanca. Guests gathered not only to enjoy a live cooking showcase but also to network, discover local talent, and build community connections over incredible food and wine.

To kick off the afternoon, Paco from Hogarguti greeted guests with a warm welcome and heartfelt words, setting the tone for the experience. A round of introductions followed, giving everyone the chance to share who they were and what they did. It was a thoughtful and effective icebreaker that quickly turned the room from formal to friendly, encouraging conversation, curiosity, and connection among attendees.

The event wrapped with a raffle, where one lucky guest won a dinner for two at MESA La Marina—an experience many guests were already planning to revisit after the impressive tasting. With over 60 years of heritage, Hogarguti is a family-run business led by Paco and Ricardo, a father-son duo dedicated to high-end home design. Their Dénia showroom showcases a full portfolio of offerings: luxury kitchens, custom closets, bioclimatic pergolas, windows, flooring, pool enclosures, doors, and bespoke architectural projects.

MESA La Marina: Japanese and Asian Fusion with a Personal Touch
At the centre of the culinary experience was Chef Ming, head of MESA La Marina, Dénia’s rising star in High-End Asian cuisine. Originally from China and with more than 30 years of experience, including time spent living and working in Holland, Chef Ming brought precision and passion into every plate.
His team prepared a spectacular dishes and bites live, using only premium, seasonal ingredients. Highlights included otoro tuna nigiri and gunkan, melt-in-your-mouth wagyu A5 on sushi rice, perfectly marbled entrecote, fresh scallop nigir, and a surprisingly rich tofu nigiri– most topped with fresh wasabi. Even the vegetables were carefully selected for freshness and flavour—each element playing a role in the harmony of the dish.
The result was a refined fusion of Japanese technique and Asian-inspired creativity, executed with high-level skill and delivered in real time to an engaged and impressed audience.



El Celler de La Fontana: Expert Pairings and Gourmet Touches
To elevate the menu, El Celler de La Fontana from Jávea curated a thoughtful wine pairing: two limited-edition Spanish wines from Bodegas Nodus. Guests were served the Ocho Encinas Chardonnay, a fresh, citrus-forward white with soft oak notes, and the Ocho Encinas Cabernet-Merlot, a smooth red with hints of red berries and spice—each selected to match the flavours of the tasting.
Known for their exceptional wine and spirits collection, El Celler also offers gourmet regional products such as artisanal olive oils, cheeses, and delicacies. Guests were invited to purchase the featured wines at a special event price, rounding out the experience with something to take home and enjoy.
